Shauna Pender is a proud Cum Laude graduate of Florida State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in theatre. She also studied theatre in London, England funded in part by her scholarship earnings from her participation in the Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant.
She has appeared on the soap opera All My Children and the ABC reality series All American Girl. After five years of competing in the state pageant, she attained her goal of being crowned Miss Florida 2003. She was planning on using the year to help bring awareness to her platform issue Society Embracing Special Needs People, as well as hoping to make contacts for a future career in the entertainment industry.
