The Speakers Group was founded in 2003 by Shawn Ellis, who previously served as Executive Vice President of Premiere Speakers Bureau. During his tenure at Premiere, the company posted tremendous growth and was honored as one of the 50 fastest growing small businesses in Nashville. In addition to leading PSB marketing initiatives, Shawn also maintained a client base that included meeting professionals and business leaders from organizations such as HealthSouth, Lucent Technologies, British Telecom, United Way, JPMorgan, Walter Reed Medical Center, GlaxoSmithKline, SEARS Home Improvement, and Bank of America. He has personally helped meeting professionals and business leaders with hundreds of bookings and has earned a reputation as being a consistent, knowledgeable, trustworthy event partner.
